The export participation gap
<20%
of African SMEs have ever attempted to export.
The barriers are not ambition or product quality. They are regulatory complexity, documentation burden, and a lack of accessible guidance.
The problem

The agreement is generous. The paperwork is not.

AfCFTA offers preferential access to 54 markets and 1.4 billion consumers — but only if exporters can prove their goods qualify under the Rules of Origin.

Most cannot navigate those rules without expert help they cannot afford. So consignments go without the Certificate of Origin, tariff savings are forfeited, and the agreement delivers a fraction of what it promised.

7–14 daysTypical back-and-forth with a customs broker before a single shipment clears.
How it works

From product details to export-ready documentation in three steps.

Each step takes minutes, not days. Every determination is cited, auditable, and ready for a chamber of commerce to countersign.

STEP 01

Describe your product

Product details, HS code (or let us classify it), input sources, and production process. If you're not sure where to start, our classifier handles the first pass.

Who it's for

One platform. Two sides of the same trade.

Exporters use TradeReady to clear their first shipment. Chambers and promotion bodies use it to scale the service they already offer — without hiring another twenty advisors.

For exporters

You make the products. We handle the compliance maze.

TradeReady is a co-pilot, not a replacement for expert judgment. Confidence scoring flags anything ambiguous, and a human trade advisor reviews the edge cases before you file.

  • Confidence scoring on every determination — low, moderate, high, or very high, with the reasoning behind it.
  • Human escalation for ambiguous cases — a trade advisor looks at anything under 80% confidence before it's issued.
  • Built around your sector — agri-processors, light manufacturers, food & beverage SMEs.

For institutional partners

Give your members export superpowers.

White-label TradeReady under your own brand. Modern digital tooling that extends your existing mandate — your brand on the front, our infrastructure underneath.

  • Your brand, our infrastructure — partner-branded portal with your logo, colour system, and domain.
  • Chamber-grade oversight — every determination is auditable, attributable, and reviewable by your advisors.
  • Extends your existing mandate — no rip-and-replace. It slots into how your trade services team already works.

The module roadmap.

TradeReady launches with the three capabilities that most block an export consignment from moving. We expand downstream into certificate issuance, market intelligence, and trade finance as the AfCFTA operational protocols mature.

Trust & credibility

A decision-support tool with built-in safeguards — not an autonomous advisor.

TradeReady is designed to accelerate expert judgment, not replace it. Every determination carries its confidence, its reasoning, and its escape hatch to a human reviewer.

Confidence scoring on every determination

Four bands — low, moderate, high, very high — each with a plain-English reason why. If the system isn't sure, it says so, and it says why.

Low <60 · Moderate 60–79 · High 80–94 · Very high ≥95

Human-in-the-loop review for ambiguous cases

Anything below the high-confidence threshold is queued for a trade advisor on your chamber's team — or ours — before it's issued. No ambiguous ruling ships silently.

Version-controlled rules database

Every AfCFTA schedule, sensitive list, and tariff line is versioned. When protocols change, we update the database and flag any determination affected by the change.
